Overview

The Kali Gandaki valley (Thak Khola) is the one of the deepest gorge in the word, located North of Pokhara and area is the inhabited by mainly Magar, Gurung Thakali and many other ethnic of group. Surrounded by wide Himalayan Peak like Annapurna, Nilgiri, Ghaulagiri, Tukche Peak and many others. The valley is main trading route to Jomsom, Mustang and in to Tibet, and pilgrim route to Muktinath for Hindu and Budhist pilgrimage. The trek boasts most of the spectacular panoramic Mountain views paddy field and exciting scenery of the country site of Nepal .

Best Season : February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November are the best seasons. However, July & August are okay and trekking can be done but not so clear visibility due to rain.

Highlights:

Visit Pokhara Paradise on Earth, A beautiful lake city with a panorama of high Himalayas. Terraced fields, alpine pastures and rhododendron forests to typical Gurungs Village. Spectacular close-up view of Machhapuchhare and Annapurna range. Rare walk through shady forest of rhododendron- hung heavy with lichen and moss, wild flowers and orchids flowering on the branches, one of the wilderness trek in Annapurna region, the less touristy area trek.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu transfer to hotel

Day 02: Half day Sightseeing tours in Kathmandu Valley

Day 03: Kathmandu- POKHARA - HILLE.
Fly to pokhara meet Trek staff and Drive to Naya Pul (New bridge) commence trek to Hille1576m. (Tikedhunga) over night Lodge.

Day 04: HILLE - GHOREPANI
Ghorepani 2727m. Steeply climb up to Ulleri village and general walk through rhododendrons forest reach Ghorepani over night Lodge.

Day 05: GHOREPANI- TATOPANI
Early morning start to Poon hill (3210m.) for views of Annapurna, Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri. Back to Ghorepani and commence trek to Tatopani (hot Springs) 1182m. Descend via Chitre, Shikha village inter Kali Gandaki Valley and a cross suspension bridge to Tatopani over night Lodge.

Day 06: TATOPANI –GHASA
Trek to Gasa (2000m) follow the Kali Gandaki valley Through Dana, rupshe chhara Waterfall Gasa.

Day 07: GHASA – LARJUNG
Larjung (2545m.) gentle walk through Lete, Kala pani village continue along the valley and spectacular view of Ghaulagiri, Nill Giri and Annapurna to the east.

Day 08: LARJUNG – JOMSOM
Jomsom (2697m.) Continue along the Kali Gandaki valley via Marpha.

Day 09: JOMSOM – KAGBENI
Kag Beni (2895m) walk along the valley to Kag Beni for lunch and free after noon or explore Kag Beni village (acclimatization).

Day 10: KAGBENI – MUKTINATH
Muktinath (3773m) Steeply up hill from Kag Beni to Jharkot and continue up to Muktinath.

Day 11: MUKTINATH
Rest day at Muktinath, Exploring village and visit to Boudhist and Hindu temple.

Day 12: MUKTINATH – JOMSOM
Return to Jomsom, descend via Kag Beni to Jomsom.

Day 13: JOMSOM -POKHARA
Fly back to Pokhara Transfer To Hotel, Free After Noon Touring Around pokhara valley and over night hotel.

Day 14:Traveling Pokhara – Kathmandu by tourist Bus and over night hotel.

Day 15:Free day in kathmandu for shopping etc and over night hotel.

Day 16:Transfer to International onwards journey to home.
